As Electrical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of all electrical systems on a major hyperscale data centre project in Sweden. Working at the cutting edge of the industry, you’ll lead a skilled team to ensure safe, efficient, and technically flawless execution, from initial installation through to commissioning and final handover.
Key Requirements
EU Passport essential – visa sponsorship is not available.
Degree in Building Services / Electrical Engineering or a strong trade background with proven leadership experience.
5+ years’ site-based experience leading high-value electrical packages, ideally within hyperscale data centre or mission-critical projects.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors on complex electrical systems.
Strong focus on Health & Safety leadership and compliance.
Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and scheduling software.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work within multinational teams and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all electrical works from installation through commissioning and final handover.
Drive Health & Safety culture, implementing best practices across the project.
Oversee hazardous energy control processes, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Maintain a deep technical understanding of electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and programme needs.
Collaborate on Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs) for critical systems.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets project and client standards.
Work closely with CSA and MEP teams to meet programme milestones and beneficial use requirements.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with resource and manpower plans.
Monitor and optimise construction sequencing and scheduling to maximise efficiency.
Oversee temporary power systems for both construction and commissioning phases.
Lead technical and coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders.
Produce progress, cost, and manpower reports for senior management.
